Ai-Lite POS is a point-of-sale system for cafes, hospitality and restaurants, built by Ai-Menu. The cut-down till from an Australian ordering company that built the QR menu before it built the POS.
Certified on Linkly and on Tyro. Worth knowing the difference: Tyro is its own acquirer, so that route means banking with Tyro. The Linkly route does not.
Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.
Ai-Menu Systems Pty Ltd has been going since 2014 across Australia and New Zealand. Its starting point was digital ordering — QR table ordering, tablet ordering, online ordering for takeaway and delivery, self-serve kiosks, bookings — with Ai-POS added as the hub that controls all of it.
Ai-Lite is the lighter configuration of that till, aimed at venues that do not need the full platform. The sensible way to read it: you are buying into an ordering ecosystem and taking the counter as part of the package, rather than buying a POS and bolting ordering on. For a venue whose real problem is queueing, that is the right trade.
Ai-Menu also has AI-Menu and Ai-POSX.
