Exobiz POS is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Exobiz Services. a Brisbane MYOB ERP partner that MYOB itself bought in 2021.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

Exobiz was a Queensland MYOB specialist — a Platinum Partner and Premium Developer working on MYOB EXO and MYOB Advanced, with warehouse management, manufacturing, retail and distribution add-ons built around them. One directory put it at 40-plus ERP specialists. Co-owner and CTO Steve Aish cited sixteen years of operation at the time of the sale, which puts the start around 2005.

MYOB acquired the business in July 2021, alongside another partner called Axsys, as part of a push into the mid-market. Terms were not disclosed. Aish went on to lead MYOB's ERP migration development team. Exobiz was described at the time as continuing as an independent entity in the short term — which is usually how these things are phrased on the way to being absorbed.

Which brings us to the honest limit of this page. The acquisition is solid and well sourced. The POS product is not: nothing we could find describes an Exobiz POS, and no page on the company's own or its partners' sites mentions one. Our reading is that the till is a module or add-on inside an MYOB ERP implementation rather than a standalone product you would shop for — but we cannot source that, so we are not asserting it. If you are being offered this, ask exactly what the software is and who supports it now.

Exobiz Services also has Symphony.
