ProfitPlus is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Foresiight Software. Founded in 1981, which makes it one of the oldest names in Australian retail software still trading.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

Foresiight is an Australian company founded in 1981. Its product is ProfiitPlus — two i's, which is the vendor's own spelling — an integrated ERP and POS for retail and wholesale trade suppliers, available on-premises or in the cloud and priced by quote rather than published.

The niche is hardware, building materials, timber, tools, fasteners, farm supplies and landscape and garden supplies. The feature list reads accordingly: customer-specific pricing, multi-location inventory, purchasing and supplier management, accounting, CRM and quoting, dashboards, plus StockMate Mobile and LoadMate Mobile for stocktake and yard loading, and an ecommerce tie-in.

Worth knowing you have options here. Trade-counter software is a surprisingly crowded Australian market — Sympac and Foresiight have been circling the same timber yards for decades — and because nobody publishes a price, the only way to find out what it costs is to run more than one quote.

Foresiight Software also has Alchemii.
