FrabPOS is a point-of-sale system for cafes, hospitality and restaurants. Australian since 2013, around 700 venues, and unusually deliberate about the cuisine it sells into.
It is certified on all three middleware layers that matter here — Linkly, mx51 and Tyro. Eighteen of the 1,127 systems on this site manage that, which leaves your choice of bank about as open as it gets.
It handles split bills and surcharging. Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.
The Linkly integration runs on premise. The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in August 2025, on Windows.
FrabPOS has been trading since 2013, is Australian-built, and reports over 700 venues across the country with a local support team covering Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin and Hobart. Alongside the POS it runs Order Eats, its own online ordering platform, plus kitchen display, QR table ordering, integrated EFTPOS, bookings, and even website and SEO work.
What stands out is the segmentation. Rather than selling one hospitality product, it publishes separate offerings for Indian, Chinese, Asian, Greek and Italian restaurants, plus pizzerias, chicken and chips shops and general takeaway. That is not just marketing — menu structure, modifier logic and order flow genuinely differ between a kebab shop and a trattoria, and most vendors make you configure it yourself.
It also says it limits onboarding capacity to protect service levels, which is an unusual thing for a growing vendor to admit and worth testing in a reference call.
FRABPOS also has VisitMate by FrabPOS.
