VisitMate by FrabPOS is a point-of-sale system for hair and beauty and retail, built by FRABPOS. an Adelaide POS shop since 2013, and VisitMate is its 24-module platform for service businesses — car washes included.
Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.
The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in September 2026, on Browser.
FrabPOS custom-builds POS systems in Adelaide — writes the software, installs it, trains staff and supports it — aimed at small and medium local businesses, and its own telling puts the start in South Australia on 6 November 2013. Its main hospitality product is FrabPOS One (POS, online ordering, kitchen display, delivery, customers, reporting), and an Order Eats brand followed in 2018. The founders are named on the site only as Alfred and Jane, with no surnames.
VisitMate is the broader platform and it is genuinely wide: 24 modules spanning a check-in kiosk, customer portal, POS, online orders, bookings, gift cards, inventory, loyalty, membership, staff and rostering, jobs, multi-location, reporting, email and SMS — and prepaid washes, which is the tell. The buyers are barbers, hair and beauty, car washes, clinics, repair shops and retail. Two customers are spotlighted: Gold Class Hand Car Wash and Barber X TTP. Car washes and barbers both run on the same awkward mix of walk-ins, prepaid packages and memberships, and that is the problem this is shaped around.
So the hair and beauty tag on this record undersells it — VisitMate is a service-business platform where the till is one of two dozen parts. A couple of loose threads: Tyro's partner listing shows a personal name in its company field rather than FrabPOS Pty Ltd, which we cannot reconcile with the Alfred and Jane on the company's own site, and no customer count or ABN is published. The site shows 106 reviews but describes them as historical, and we could not retrieve any verbatim.
