FusionPOS — bank compatibility

FusionPOS is a point-of-sale system for retail. a cloud platform for bike shops — and not the UK takeaway POS with the same name.

The Australian FusionPOS does one thing: bicycle retailers. The site leads with "point of sale software for bicycle retailers", and the module list is exactly what a bike shop needs and a general till does not — workshop booking, bike and parts inventory, supplier ordering, CRM, accounting, HR, e-commerce and Xero integration. Zeller's listing describes it the same way. Linkly and Windcave are named as the integrated card processors, and support covers Australia and New Zealand.

That specialisation is the whole argument for it. A bike shop is half retail, half service department: the workshop booking, the job tied to a customer's bike, the parts consumed off the shelf for a repair. Running that on a generic POS means keeping a second system for the workshop, which is how most shops end up with a whiteboard.

Two warnings. First, name collision: there is a UK FusionPOS for restaurants and takeaways, priced in pounds, and an Indian one — neither is this product, so filter your research accordingly. Second, the company behind it is opaque. The ABN in the site footer resolves to a discretionary trading trust registered in Western Australia in May 2022, with no trading name confirmation, and we found no founder, founding year, owner or customer count. One Zeller listing still shows the integration as coming soon. There is a clear product here and almost nothing known about the business.
