Ezi Scale is weighing and labelling equipment, not a point of sale, and that distinction matters when you are pricing a shop fit-out. GaP Solutions sells it as software plus hardware — the Ezi Scale-Q1 and Ezi Scale-MK3 units — alongside Ezi Ticket and Ezi Labeller, and it is designed to feed the same EM Cloud back office as their tills.

Weighing is genuinely GaP's trade rather than a sideline. They are listed as a software developer, systems integrator and weighing equipment supplier, with check weighing, barcode work and rack and shelf labelling in the catalogue, operating out of Edwardstown in Adelaide since 1992. For a butcher, a deli, a seafood counter or a fruit and veg shop, having the scale and the till come from one vendor removes a reconciliation problem that otherwise never quite goes away — and removes the finger-pointing when a label price does not match what the register charges.

The customers they point to are independent food retailers inside the big banner groups — Coles, Metcash, SPAR, IGA, BP and Shell — and they list over 100 integration partners across 19 categories, plus GS1 Australia, Zebra, Honeywell and Toshiba Global Commerce partnerships. One thing to insist on: if a weight is going onto a price label a customer pays against, ask in writing what approvals the specific units you are quoted carry. That is a legal question, not a features question.
