GoMenu POS — bank compatibility

GoMenu POS is a point-of-sale system for cafes and hospitality, built by GoMenu. Auckland, not Australia — and the company behind it trades as GPOS Limited.
It is certified on all three middleware layers that matter here — Linkly, mx51 and Tyro. Eighteen of the 1,127 systems on this site manage that, which leaves your choice of bank about as open as it gets.
The integration covers split bills, tipping and surcharging.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud. The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in April 2026, on iPadOS.
GoMenu is run out of Mount Eden in Auckland by GPOS Limited, and it sells three separate things depending on what you are: GoMenu POS is the cloud hospitality platform for iPad and Android, Moni Retail is the Android retail product, and GPOS Windows is the old server-based system they still support. That last one tells you how long they have been around — there is a legacy install base being carried.
The customer logos are the useful signal here. Foodstuffs, Farro Fresh, Fruit World, Hollywood Bakery, Lianhua — that is grocery and bakery weight, not cafe weight, which is unusual for a cloud POS pitch. They also sell on no lock-in contracts and fast setup, so the commercial model is month-to-month rather than a four-year hardware lease. If you are in Australia, ask directly about local support hours before you sign, because the support desk is a New Zealand phone number.
GoMenu also has Moni F&B and Moni POS.
