RxOne POS — bank compatibility

RxOne is a point-of-sale system for pharmacy retail and retail, built by Healthsoft. A New Zealand pharmacy platform that has set up an Australian arm in Oakleigh.

Certified on Linkly and on Tyro. Worth knowing the difference: Tyro is its own acquirer, so that route means banking with Tyro. The Linkly route does not.

RxOne is a pharmacy platform, not a shop till, and the POS record here is one module of it. The suite splits into Dispense for prescriptions, Retail for the front counter, Compound Pro for compounding and Head Office for multi-pharmacy groups — so the sale and the script move through the same system rather than two that have to be reconciled.

Its origins are New Zealand. Healthsoft built it there, it is listed as a member of the Digital Health Association in New Zealand, and the NZ product still runs under its own domain for that market. The Australian arm trades as HealthSoft Australia from Chester Street, Oakleigh in Melbourne's south-east, with an 1800 number and its own Australian registration.

For a pharmacy that puts the due diligence in a specific place. Ask exactly what the Retail module does at the counter when the dispense side is under load, ask what claiming it supports and through whom, and get Australian references rather than New Zealand ones — the deep install base is across the Tasman.
