iPos/iCafe/iPizza/iWash vFeb2010 is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by Imagatec. A 2010-vintage build of a Brisbane hospitality system that is still trading independently — and if you are on it, that version number is the thing to check first.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

The vendor is Imagatec, an Australian company with its head office and development team in Brisbane. The directors are Trevor Turnbull, Director and Software Architect, and Brian Howard-Clarke, Managing Director. Imagatec says its software is in use by hundreds of clients and names Hogs Breath Café and Montezuma's among them. Notably, it remains independently owned, which separates it from most of the Australian POS market — Impos, Kounta, Kitomba, Tower Systems and the rest have all been bought by overseas groups.

The range runs iPOS as the core till with iPizza, iWash, iWarehouse, iOrder and iPortal around it, developed for cafes and restaurants and extending into quick service, carwashes and carwash cafes. It is sold either store-based or cloud-based.

The reason the date in this record matters: a February 2010 build is a long way back, and payment integration certifications are tied to specific versions. A terminal arrangement that works on the current release may not be certified against a sixteen-year-old install, and on-premise hospitality systems of that era commonly ran through PC-EFTPOS, now Linkly, with a pinpad cabled to each counter PC. Before you choose anything, get Imagatec to confirm what version you are actually running and what it is certified for — upgrading the POS may turn out to be the prerequisite, not the optional extra.

Imagatec also has iPOS and iPOS / iCAFE / iPIZZA / iWASH.
