Taptouch Beauty is the hair and beauty configuration of the Taptouch platform, from Ivida Smart Technologies Pty Ltd. Here is the thing to go in knowing: Taptouch's public material is written almost entirely around hospitality and retail, and the beauty build is not separately documented. So make them demo the salon side specifically — appointment booking, staff rosters, service menus, commission — rather than accept a hospitality demo and assume it maps across to a salon's day.
The vendor itself is solid ground. Taptouch says it is trusted by more than 4,000 venues and sells into Australia, the UK, New Zealand and the Netherlands. It builds its own hardware — an 11-inch detachable tablet, a dual-screen counter unit and a 21.5-inch kiosk — which is unusual and means the till and the screens come from one supplier. Software plans run from free up to around $165 plus GST a month. Ask for beauty reference sites of your size before you commit; the hospitality references on their site will not tell you much about how it handles a column of appointments.
