PartnerPro2 POS — bank compatibility

Point-of-sale system by K POS · All point-of-sale systems

PartnerPro2 is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by K POS. the second line of the same Castle Hill system, from a vendor that also installs your CCTV.

Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.

Certified to do tipping, phone and mail order and surcharging.

The mx51 integration uses SPI .NET or Spice and was last certified in October 2021, on Windows. mx51 holds 2 separate certified builds for it, so what works depends which one you are on.

PartnerPro2 is the other of the two product lines K POS Pty Ltd holds certifications against. The company runs from U8, 9 Hoyle Avenue, Castle Hill in Sydney's north-west and sells all-in-one point of sale, online ordering and self-ordering kiosks to restaurants, takeaway shops, cafes and marts.

The giveaway about the business model is the rest of the catalogue: CCTV and IT and network services sit alongside the POS. This is a local integrator doing whole-of-venue fitouts, which usually means a single phone number for the till, the cameras and the internet — and a relationship rather than a subscription.

No founding year, staff count, venue count or ownership detail is published, and the site does not explain how PartnerPro2 differs from Partner_Pro. Named venues on the site include Sushi Oh, Maroo and Freepour Espresso, though they are not labelled as clients.

K POS also has Partner_Pro.
