TABLETIOUS Version POS — bank compatibility

TABLETIOUS Version is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by MEDIANARA. tablet self-ordering out of Logan, Queensland, with a strong run through Brisbane's Korean and Japanese restaurants.

Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.

MediaNara is a Queensland software developer based at Meadowbrook in the Logan area, south of Brisbane. It builds two things: MNPOS, a Windows point of sale, and Tabletious, a native Android tablet self-ordering system with POS functions and a kiosk version. The counters on its own site read 1,578 shops on MNPOS and 5,534 Tabletious tablets deployed, which is a decent number for a company most people in the industry have never heard of.

The customer list tells you where it actually won: Hikaru Sushi, Hanaro Mart, Sushi 1, Koto Sanpo, Hanwoori, Korilla BBQ, Kith 'n' Chow, The Fach Shop. Korean and Japanese restaurants and grocers in south-east Queensland, in other words — a community niche built one referral at a time. Tablet ordering suits that trade: high table turnover, menus with a lot of items, and customers who would rather tap through pictures than wait for a waiter.

Be careful with the site counts, because sources disagree. MediaNara's own site says more than 1,500 restaurants and retailers in Queensland; Zeller's partner page says more than 500. Different dates, probably, but we would not quote either as gospel. Payment partners listed are Linkly, Tyro and Zeller. No founding year, owner, Pty Ltd entity or acquisition is published anywhere, and the site footer still carries a 2018 copyright.

MEDIANARA also has MNPOS.
