MetricsPOS is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and retail, built by Metrics Business Systems. a Mawson Lakes shop selling one application that tries to be the ERP, the CRM and the till at once.

Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud. Linkly holds 2 separate certified builds for it, so what works depends which one you are on.

Metrics Business Systems trades as MetricsERP out of Mawson Lakes in South Australia, and the pitch is consolidation: ERP, CRM and POS in a single application rather than three systems stitched together. The POS is a module of that, not a standalone product. The industries it shows are building, distribution, manufacturing and wholesale, with named clients including Builditeco, Semaphore Fruit & Veg, VisionPlus Windows, MYT Framing Solutions, Peters Packaging, and George and Ben Fresh Food.

That client mix is the useful signal. These are small-to-mid trade and wholesale businesses — the sort that sell over a counter and also run jobs, deliveries and accounts, where the till is the least interesting part of the problem. If what you need is a fast cafe POS, this is the wrong shape of product. If you are a building supplier or a packaging wholesaler running a counter alongside everything else, single-application is a real argument.

Thin on the company. No founding year, no founders, no ownership, no acquisition and no install count are published, and the only testimonial on the site is the vendor's own: "Metrics is incredibly easy to use." Note that the trading name MetricsERP and the registered name Metrics Business Systems on the accreditation register are tied together only by the website link, which is strong but not an entity record.

Metrics Business Systems also has MetricsPOS 1.0.0 (TCPIP).
