TotalControl Lite (tcLite) is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by Monitor WA. the cut-down till from the Perth company that cards every WA schoolkid.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
tcLite is the small end of Monitor WA's Total Control range. The full product spans Total Control Web, Total Control POS and the Lite PC version, and the company's own support portal shows what tcLite actually handles day to day: cash drawers, EFTPOS, login cards. It is the counter software for a site that is already on Monitor WA's card system — a canteen, a club bar, a university outlet — rather than a POS someone would buy on its own merits.
Monitor WA is a Balcatta, Perth business of 11 to 50 staff, and its real trade is ID cards and access control. It has supplied SmartRider cards to every eligible Western Australian student since 2004, and sells cashless canteen systems, Pharos print management, PC booking and RollCall bus tracking alongside. Edith Cowan University, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Royal Perth Yacht Club and Joondalup Brothers Rugby Club are on its client list.
Which is the thing worth knowing before you shortlist it: the hospitality tag is a middleware category, not a market position. tcLite makes sense where the card and the canteen are one system. It is not competing with the hospitality POS names you would otherwise be quoting, and nothing published gives it a founding year, owner or install count.
Monitor WA also has SmartLoader.
