Oracle Simphony 19.3 via Linkly Bridge for Oracle is not a point-of-sale system — it is the payment connector that joins Linkly Bridge for Oracle to the terminal, through Linkly. Built by Oracle. Not a till — this is the piece of software that lets an Oracle Simphony POS drive an Australian EFTPOS terminal at all.

Worth being clear about what this is, because the directories list it alongside the tills: you do not buy this instead of a point-of-sale system, you buy it to connect one you already have. If you are running Linkly Bridge for Oracle, this is how it talks to the terminal.

This is a payment connector, not a point of sale. The Linkly Bridge for Oracle is software from Linkly that joins Oracle's Simphony POS to the bank terminal sitting next to it, and this record is that bridge against Simphony 19.3. Without it, a cashier reads the total off the screen and keys it into the terminal by hand. With it, the amount crosses automatically and you get counter payments, purchases, refunds, settlement and tipping driven from the POS.

Linkly distributes it through Oracle Cloud Marketplace. It covers Simphony 2.9 and later, plus RES 3700 5.5+ and e7 POS 4.4, and runs over either the Simphony Payment Interface (SPI) or the Oracle Payment Interface (OPI). Linkly says it needs no changes to existing terminal software or merchant onboarding. The claim worth repeating is the big one: integrated payments for CBA, Westpac, NAB and ANZ customers running Simphony did not exist before this bridge. If you are a big-four merchant on Simphony, this component is what makes integration possible, not just convenient.

The POS itself is Oracle's, and Oracle Simphony is the former MICROS — bought by Oracle in 2014 for about US$5.3 billion. So there are three parties in the room when something breaks mid-service: Oracle for the till, Linkly for the bridge, and your bank for the terminal. Agree who you call first before you need to, and get it in the contract rather than the sales email.
