Pisell POS is a point-of-sale system for entertainment and leisure, hair and beauty, hospitality and professional services, and 1 more, built by Pisell. An ecommerce platform that grew a till, and it is built for merchants whose customers live in WeChat — Mini Programs are a first-class feature here.
Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.
Certified for surcharging.
The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in May 2026, on Android, Browser and iOS.
Pisell comes at point of sale from the opposite direction to everyone else. It is an all-in-one platform for building and running an online store — website and app builders, iOS and Android apps, order management, marketing into Facebook and Instagram, multi-language and multi-currency support — with point of sale as part of the same system rather than the starting point. They say it powers over 1,000 local businesses.
The feature that genuinely distinguishes it is WeChat Mini Programs, built in alongside the website and app builders. That is a deliberate choice and it tells you who Pisell is for: a merchant whose shoppers live inside WeChat rather than finding them on Google. If that is your customer base, it is a real differentiator and very few Australian POS vendors offer it at all. If it is not, you are paying for a platform whose centre of gravity sits somewhere other than your shop floor.
They also bundle LUCA Pay, which lets businesses settle their own B2B invoices across four monthly instalments. That is a cash flow tool for you as the merchant, not a payment method for your customers — worth keeping separate in your head from the EFTPOS question, because the two get blurred in sales conversations. Public information on the company is thin: no founding date, no ownership published, and a 2021 copyright on the site. Ask who you are actually contracting with.
Pisell also has Pisell and Pisell Terminal.
