POSApt Kiosk — bank compatibility

POSApt Kiosk is a self-service kiosk for hospitality, built by POSApt. The self-order screen from the same small Melbourne outfit that publishes its monthly prices.
Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.
The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in April 2026, on Android.
This is a kiosk, not a counter till. It comes from POSApt, a cloud POS vendor selling out of Clayton in Victoria, with POSAPT PTY LTD at 192 Heatherdale Rd, Vermont VIC as the entity on its Android app listing. The kiosk sits in a range that also includes POS, online ordering, e-commerce, digital signage, kitchen display, gift cards, loyalty, staff scheduling and Xero integration, and there is a UK site alongside the Australian one.
Pricing is published, which is unusual in this market: hospitality from $66 a month, retail from $99, and POS with online ordering at $185 including GST, with free POS software for hospitality when you buy a terminal. Hardware carries a 12-month replacement warranty and is sold only for use with their software.
On a kiosk specifically: it earns its money in quick service and fast casual where queue length at peak is the bottleneck, and nowhere else. The payment flow has to work with nobody standing beside it, so test declines, cancellations, partial approvals and how a receipt gets to the customer before you buy. Also worth noting the installed base looks small — the Android app shows 100-plus downloads — so ask for a working kiosk site you can go and stand in front of.
POSApt also has POSApt.
