Prompt U iPOS is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Protrace Solutions. A food-processing floor system, not a retail POS — carcase grading sits in the same product.

Protrace Solutions' product is PromptU, a computer-based system for the food industry that runs from raw material purchasing through factory operations to the sale of finished goods. Alongside inventory, purchasing and sales it carries an isCAN system, an on-floor iOCM touchscreen, a carcase intake touchscreen, a carcase grading touchscreen and labelling solutions.
That module list is the whole story. This is software for food processors, packers, distributors and wholesalers of manufactured products — the touchscreen and sales components are what sit near a payment terminal, typically at a trade counter attached to a plant rather than a shopfront.
Protrace works through resellers for installation, training and support and says it has worked with customers globally. Anyone comparing this against a hospitality or retail POS is comparing two different categories of software that happen to share a certification register.
