POSCAMCT is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by Suntech Enterprise. The mx51-certified build of the same Ferntree Gully weighing till.

Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.

The mx51 integration uses SPI .NET and was last certified in September 2018, on Windows.

Same vendor as the POSCAM record beside it: Suntech Enterprise P/L of Unit 17, 756 Burwood Hwy, Ferntree Gully VIC. The National Measurement Institute pattern-approved the Suntech POS model POSCAM under certificate S658, revision 3 issued 31 May 2016, which makes it legal for trade where price is computed from weight — a butcher, deli, seafood counter, fruit and veg shop or bulk-foods store.

The approved configuration is a Posiflex KS-7215 or equivalent Windows PC running POSCAM 3.3.x.xx, with a Citizen receipt printer and the CAS AP-1 scale named as compatible. It totals weighed and non-weighed items together, marks manually keyed weights on the docket, and holds price computation error to half a cent. The approval does not permit a tare value, which is worth knowing if you weigh into containers.

The difference between this record and the POSCAM one is the middleware — this is the mx51-certified listing, the other goes through Linkly — and that is what decides which acquirers you can reach. Also note the website on the vendor record resolves to ZiiCloud, ZIITECH Pty Ltd of Deepdene VIC, which is a different company; go by the NMI certificate for who actually makes this.

Suntech Enterprise also has POSCAM.
