Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
Sympac Solutions has supplied Australian hardware, timber and building-materials merchants since 1991 from Neilson Court in Warragul, Victoria. It is part of Constellation Software through Vela APX — the Toronto-listed acquirer that buys vertical-market software businesses and keeps them.
The customer base is timber, tools and hardware, industrial and construction supply, electrical appliance and furniture retail, rural merchandise, and buying groups and independent retailers. This is trade counter software: account customers, contract pricing, yard stock.
The XP designation on this record is the thing to look at. Two separate Sympac builds sit in the certification register, and a Windows XP-era one tells you how long some of these yards have been running the same terminal setup. If that is you, the payment side is likely the oldest part of your stack — check what the current Sympac release supports before you assume a new terminal will just plug in.
Sym-Pac Computing also has Sym-Pac for Windows.
