LS Retail NAV-Tectura is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Tectura (Australia). A Dynamics NAV-era LS Retail build carrying the name of a global implementer that sold off half its business in 2013.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

What this record actually is: LS Retail's add-on for Microsoft Dynamics NAV — the predecessor to today's LS Central — as implemented by Tectura. LS Retail is Icelandic, runs about 300 staff, and reaches more than 80,000 customer sites in over 140 countries through channel partners rather than selling direct. Tectura was one of those partners.

Tectura was a global Microsoft Dynamics consultancy. In December 2013 it sold its Canadian, US and Latin American operations to the Australian group UXC Eclipse, keeping its Europe and Asia businesses; terms were not disclosed. The deal took UXC's US headcount from 85 to nearly 300 and brought Dynamics SL and NAV into its range, with Tectura's CEO staying on across Europe and Asia.

Version 5.00 and "NAV" in the name both date this badly. NAV has since been succeeded by Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Retail's current product is LS Central, while LS Retail itself has changed owners twice — to Aptos in February 2021 and, under a December 2025 agreement, to Axcel. If you are still running a NAV-era LS Retail install behind your terminal, the upgrade conversation is overdue and the payment integration is the part most likely to break first.

Tectura (Australia) also has LS Retail.
