PowerEPOS — bank compatibility

PowerEPOS is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by Triniteq. Perth, 1997 — and it was running handheld ordering before smartphones existed.
Certified on both Linkly and mx51, which between them cover most of the acquiring market.
Certified for pay at table, tipping, phone and mail order and surcharging.
The Linkly integration runs on premise. The mx51 integration uses Spice and was last certified in December 2023, on Windows.
Triniteq has been building point of sale in Perth since 1997. Shaun Munro, the CEO, started as a chef, moved into restaurant and hotel management, did an MBA, and built the thing he could not buy — which is a more credible origin story than most. The company was an early mover on handheld ordering, running PDAs against POS software years before anyone had a smartphone in their pocket. PowerEPOS is the current platform; WaiterPOS is the older one they still carry.
In February 2026 PowerEPOS picked up Australian Made certification. For software that means Australian Made Campaign Limited accepted the product is substantially transformed here and the development happens here. Almost nothing else selling into this market can claim it — most of the field is reselling or localising something built offshore — so if local development and local support matter to you, that is a hard credential rather than a marketing line.
The range runs single cafes up to stadiums, with thousands of venues claimed Australia-wide and named clients including Stadiums Tasmania and Icebergs Dining Room & Bar at Bondi. Teams sit in WA, NSW and Queensland.
Triniteq also has WaiterPOS.
