WaiterPOS — bank compatibility

WaiterPOS is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and retail, built by Triniteq. Perth-built since 1997, and this is the one you buy outright rather than rent — which is increasingly rare.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

Triniteq was founded in Perth in 1997 and runs two hospitality products. WaiterPOS is the on-premise system you purchase outright; PowerEPOS is the newer cloud-hybrid that runs on the venue's terminals and syncs up. In a market that has moved almost entirely to monthly subscriptions, a buy-it-once option is genuinely unusual, and it changes the sums on a five-year view.

Feature-wise it is built for venues that actually need the complexity: switching between table, takeaway and delivery modes, interactive floor plans with colour-coded table stages, public holiday surcharging, PIN and RFID staff logons with permissions, and an "always on" mode so trade continues when the network does not. Add-on modules cover stock, time and attendance, loyalty and accounts, and sales analysis. It integrates with MYOB and Xero, hotel systems including Opera, roommaster and Guestline, and payment providers including Tyro and Linkly.

Triniteq says it is trusted by thousands of Australian venues and its named customers skew to the big and complicated: Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Stadiums Tasmania, VenuesWest, the WA Arts and Culture Trust, Hurricane's Grill and Pancakes on the Rocks. Hurricane's has reportedly run it across multiple sites for 15 years. Mining camps are on the target list too, which tells you something about how it copes with bad connectivity.

Triniteq also has PowerEPOS.
