ZiiKTO is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by ZIITECH. Part of the Zii hospitality range out of Melbourne, from a company that has quietly grown to around 12,000 venues on the back of an acquisition.
Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.
The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in July 2026, on Android.
ZiiKTO sits in the hospitality line from ZIITECH Pty Ltd, based at Deepdene in Melbourne's east. Worth pinning down exactly which product you are being quoted, because the naming in this range moves around: Zii's own site lists ZiiPOS for food and beverage and for retail, a Self Order kiosk, Order Anywhere for QR and online ordering, and a table-ordering product it calls ZiiTO. Get the product name, the modules and the hardware in writing before you sign.
The company is older than the Zii brand. It was founded in 2003 as Digifield and says it onboarded its 10,000th customer in June 2013, with the Zii name arriving around 2019. The jump to its current scale came in February 2022, when it acquired Suntech Enterprises Australia — a Melbourne POS platform strong in catering, bakeries, supermarkets, convenience and multi-site chains — taking Zii to close to 12,000 venues nationally. The surrounding stack covers kitchen display, eBooking, inventory, loyalty and delivery integrations, so most of what a venue needs is available from the one vendor.
ZIITECH also has ZiiKiosk, ZiiPOS, Ziipos Classic Edition and ZiiPOS Retail.
