ZiiPOS Retail is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by ZIITECH. The shop-counter build of a platform that started out in Melbourne hospitality in 2003.
Certified on Linkly and on Tyro. Worth knowing the difference: Tyro is its own acquirer, so that route means banking with Tyro. The Linkly route does not.
Certified for cash out. Tyro rates it a Plus partner.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
ZiiPOS Retail is the retail configuration of Zii, run by ZIITECH Pty Ltd from Deepdene in Melbourne. The company was founded in 2003 under the name Digifield and says it had 10,000 customers across the platform by 2013. Groceries, butchers and mobile repair shops are the retail verticals it names, which is a different list to most cloud POS vendors chasing fashion boutiques.
The thing to understand is that this is one platform wearing two badges. ZiiPOS is the hospitality build, ZiiPOS Retail is this one, and they come from the same company and the same codebase. If you are running a venue and a shop and want one vendor across both, that is the actual argument for it. If you are shopping around, do not treat the two as competing quotes.
