ARMS F&B is a point-of-sale system for cafes, hospitality and quick service. A Malaysian-registered outfit selling an iPad restaurant till that runs with no back-end server at all.

Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.

Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.

ARMS F&B is made by ARMS Software International Sdn Bhd — Sdn Bhd being the Malaysian private company form, so this is a South East Asian product reaching Australia through the integration directory rather than a local build. It is a restaurant point of sale sold through the Apple App Store, with copyright notices current to 2025.

The architecture is the unusual bit and it cuts both ways. ARMS F&B is fully standalone — no back-end server required, install it and start taking orders — while still supporting up to twenty iPads, iPods or iPhones as mobile ordering terminals and up to ten printers, with table and bill splitting and merging, multi-user access with individual privileges, and daily and monthly reporting exportable to HTML and CSV. For a venue that does not want a server in a cupboard, that is genuinely attractive. For a venue that wants centralised multi-site reporting, the same design is the limitation.

One reviewer's summary is a fair read on where it sits: "affordable for small bussinese" but "complete enough for larger venues". Cheap end of the market, more capable than the price suggests, and you are buying from offshore — so establish what support looks like in Australian hours before you commit a venue to it. Tyro certification covers integrated purchases.
