Autom8 is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and retail, built by Fingermark. Out of Hawke's Bay in New Zealand, and the kiosks it builds are in well over 10,000 fast food sites worldwide.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

Fingermark was founded in 2006 by Luke Irving, who came at it sideways — he was running bars in Wellington, and his first touch-screen build was an automated shoe selector for Rebel Sport. A Subway deal did not happen, but one with Restaurant Brands did, and that opened the door to the global quick-service world. Yum, the American parent of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, took notice. The company is headquartered in Hawke's Bay and now has a rollout of kiosks and digital menus underway across well over 10,000 locations.

What it actually sells today is three things: Supersonic self-service kiosks, Supernova digital menu boards, and Eyecue, a computer-vision system that watches the drive-thru with cameras and AI so staff can anticipate what is coming. Fingermark claims Supersonic lifts average order value by up to 30%. It operates across New Zealand, Australia and North America.

Worth flagging: Autom8 does not appear anywhere in Fingermark's current product lineup. If you are looking at this, check with Fingermark which of the current products you would actually be deployed on, because the kiosk hardware and the payment integration differ between them.
