Bass Software POS — bank compatibility
Point-of-sale system by Apparel 21 · All point-of-sale systems

Bass Software is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Apparel 21. Sits under Apparel21, the fashion ERP behind Accent Group, Decjuba and MJ Bale, and now owned by Constellation Software.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
The vendor here is Apparel21, which has spent four decades building ERP exclusively for fashion, clothing and footwear. Its stack covers retail back office and point of sale, wholesale, production planning, reporting, the Envimo mobile POS for selling on the shop floor, and Connect for syncing stock into Shopify, The Iconic, Macy's and eBay. The client list runs to Accent Group, Brand Collective, Retail Apparel Group, Aje, Decjuba, MJ Bale, Aquila, General Pants Co and APG & Co.
Apparel21 claims more than 125 fashion retailers, over 3,000 retail locations under management, about 20% of clothing and footwear shopfronts in this market, a 97% client retention rate and ISO 27001 certification. It is part of Vela Software Group through Vela APX, an operating group of Toronto-listed Constellation Software — the same portfolio as Tower Systems, Surefire, ACR and AdvanceRetail.
Flag before you go shopping for terminals: Bass does not appear anywhere in Apparel21's current published product range. Confirm with Apparel21 which supported product your stores would actually run, because the EFTPOS integration sits with the POS module specifically, not the wider ERP.
