Becas is a point-of-sale system for butchers and grocers, general retail and retail. A Silverwater outfit that sells you the till, the pager and the car park gate — which tells you exactly what kind of venue it works in.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
The integration covers cash out.
Becas Technology Pty Ltd operates out of Silverwater in Sydney's west and describes itself as Australian-owned with more than 15 years delivering integrated systems. The product range is wider than a till: hospitality POS with kitchen display, handhelds and self-serve kiosks; retail POS including a service station build; guest, staff and gaming-floor paging, down to nurse call and table location; and car park management with licence plate recognition. That combination is the giveaway — this is a vendor built around clubs, pubs and large venues where the counter is only one of several systems.
The customer wall backs that up: DOOLEYS Lidcombe, Granville Diggers, The Wickham in Fortitude Valley, Hilton Brisbane, Discovery Parks in Darwin and Frasers Property at Rhodes. Payments run through Tyro among others, with Castles terminal hardware shown in one package. One thing worth flagging if you came here from a comparison table: Tyro's own partner directory files Becas under butchers, grocers and supermarkets, and Becas's own site never mentions any of those three. Its retail story is convenience, liquor, grocery and specialty, with the real weight on venues.
Connected through
A POS reaches a bank through middleware. Each card below is one certified route; the banks it reaches are on the middleware page.
