Beyond Bouldering POS — bank compatibility

Beyond Bouldering is a point-of-sale system for hospitality. Not a software company in any sense — an Adelaide climbing gym chain whose counter turns up in the EFTPOS integration lists.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

Beyond Bouldering was created in 2017 by a group of South Australian climbers who wanted world-class bouldering close to home, and it now runs three facilities in central Adelaide. Keswick came first, with Walltopia walls built in 2017. Kent Town opened in 2019 after Keswick kept packing out. The Thebarton flagship opened in December 2024 — a two-storey bouldering area with a mezzanine, a big overhang, and Walltopia walls and flooring again. A fourth gym at Clovelly Park ran from July 2021 to January 2024 and closed because the Torrens to Darlington motorway project took the site.

Treat this record as a venue, not a product. The counter handles memberships and casual entry, a cafe, and a pro shop stocking chalk, brushes, pads and hangboards, alongside fundamentals and technique courses, private coaching and youth programs. Their CRM is listed as UniCentre. If you are comparing POS systems, there is nothing here to buy — what you are looking at is a climbing gym that appears in the integration directory because its till talks to a terminal.

A POS reaches a bank through middleware. Each card below is one certified route; the banks it reaches are on the middleware page.
