BeyondPro v6.1 and BeyondCloud is a point-of-sale system for professional services, built by OpusXenta. Cemetery and crematorium software out of Bondi — a niche almost nobody knows exists, serving what the trade calls death care.

Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.

OpusXenta builds management software for cemeteries and crematoria, run out of Bondi in New South Wales. Tony Lorge is listed as founder and chief executive. The company has two products: byondpro, the on-premise system, and byondcloud, the SaaS platform. It is a venture-backed private company with Clinton Capital Partners as lead investor across its funding rounds, and it is not small — staff numbers are in the 101 to 250 band.

This is one of the genuinely odd corners of the POS market. A cemetery operator is managing interment rights, plot records, scheduling and compliance over timeframes measured in decades, and the payments attached to that are things like grave purchases, renewals, memorial plaques and service fees. It is closer to a property and records system with a payment counter than it is to a retail till.

Which is why the EFTPOS conversation here is specific. Payments need to post against the right record — a plot, a right of interment, a particular service — and the counter traffic is low volume and high value compared to hospitality. Terminal choice matters less than how cleanly the payment reconciles back into the system.
