Bluize is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and retail, built by BHGLS. an Adelaide and Melbourne outfit that only does pubs, clubs and bottleshops — and the gaming loyalty that goes with them.

Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud or on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud or on premise. Linkly holds 2 separate certified builds for it, so what works depends which one you are on.

Bluize runs from Somerton Park in Adelaide and Keysborough in Melbourne, and says it is 100% dedicated to hospitality. The product set reflects that narrowly: POS, a gaming and venue loyalty system, memberships with a member app, digital signage through its Digital Media Centre, and reporting. The buyers are hotels large and small, drive-through and retail bottleshops, and sporting and community clubs. Phillip Sibbons is CEO and founder, with Kirt Wilson as general manager and Santo Condello on business development, and the company claims over 25 years in hospitality and gaming. A 24/7/365 helpdesk is part of the pitch.

The gaming loyalty piece is what actually separates it. If you run an RSL or a club with machines, tying the loyalty card to both the bar till and the gaming floor is a specific problem that general hospitality POS vendors handle badly or not at all. Named venues on its own site are Deer Park Club, North Bondi RSL and Innisfail RSL, with National Hotel Complex featured in its work. That is the market: clubs and RSLs first, pubs and bottleshops second.

No parent company or acquisition shows up anywhere — unusual in Australian hospitality POS, where most of the familiar names now sit inside a group. One directory calls it the largest independently owned POS company in Australia, but that is a directory marketing line with nothing behind it, and two databases disagree on whether the head office is Dandenong or Wheelers Hill. No founding year is stated. The vendor name on this record, BHGLS, appears nowhere we could find and we are not going to guess what it stands for.
