Chexta POS — bank compatibility

Chexta POS is a point-of-sale system for accommodation and hospitality, built by Chexta. a Turkish hotel platform founded in late 2024, where the POS is the restaurant module.

Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.

Certified for tipping and one till driving several terminals.

The mx51 integration uses SCI and was last certified in May 2026, on Android, Browser and iOS.

Chexta is not an Australian product. The company is Chexta Yazılım Teknolojileri A.Ş., based in Istanbul with a Teknopark İstanbul association and an Antalya presence, and what it sells is a modular cloud hotel management platform — property management, channel manager, booking engine, payments — aimed at boutique hotels, city hotels, aparthotels and pensions. Chexta POS is the restaurant module inside that, for the hotel's own food and beverage outlets.

It is also very new. The company's own timeline runs R&D in 2022, beta in 2023, and official founding on 15 November 2024, with international expansion planned from 2025. It claims services to 150-plus businesses and 500-plus active users, and lists over 100 integrations. A Product Hunt listing from 2026, by maker Berkay Cetin, says Chexta has launched in Turkey, Australia and Germany.

That Australian launch claim is the company's own and we could find nothing to support it: no Australian entity, no ABN, no Australian address, no Australian hotel customer. The honest read is a credible young Turkish hotel PMS that has declared an intention to sell here. If you run an Australian property, the questions to ask are who supports you in your timezone, who holds the contract, and what happens to your data — none of which the public record answers.
