ChiefPosServer POS — bank compatibility

ChiefPosServer is a point-of-sale system for professional services, built by PLE Computers. A Perth computer shop that has been family-run since 1991 — the 'product' here is just the name of their till server.
Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.
PLE Computers was established in 1991 by Peter and Maureen Lingley, with Peter still listed as CEO, and it has stayed Australian-owned and family-operated the whole way. It sells custom-built desktops and gaming PCs, mini and AI PCs, notebooks, components, monitors, peripherals, networking and software, with its own technical service and warranty bench. More than 75 staff. It marked thirty years in 2021 with an anniversary clothing line whose proceeds went to the Red Cross Queensland and NSW flood appeal.
Four retail stores, all in Perth: Wangara, Bentley, Cockburn and Osborne Park, plus a click-and-collect-only point at Dandenong South in Victoria with no retail counter. No acquisition, administration, rebrand or outside owner turns up anywhere — which is unusual longevity for an independent computer retailer, given what happened to most of that cohort.
The record is a merchant, not a vendor. 'ChiefPosServer' returns nothing as a commercial product, PLE sells no POS software, and the string reads exactly like the hostname of the server running their own tills. Useful to know if you are trying to work out which bank a PLE store can take — that is their own integration, not something you can go out and buy.
