CloudHQ4 - Mobile POS is a point-of-sale system for hospitality, built by CloudHQ 4. Poswise, renamed -- same ABN since 2006, and the company running the tills in more than 200 Salvos stores.
Certified on mx51, which is the engine behind several banks’ own terminal offerings rather than something a merchant buys by name.
Certified for pay at table, tipping, phone and mail order and surcharging.
The mx51 integration uses SPI JavaScript and was last certified in July 2022, on iOS and iPadOS.
The entity is CloudHQ4 Pty Ltd, ABN active from 28 August 2006, main business location VIC 3189 in Moorabbin. It was named Poswise Pty Ltd from 2006 until 24 March 2016, when it became CloudHQ4 Pty Ltd -- same ABN and same ACN throughout, so a rename rather than an acquisition. It also still holds the registered business name POSALLWORKS, continuously since October 2009. The ABN address history walks through five Melbourne postcodes between 2006 and 2016, which is the signature of a business that has been trading the whole time.
The Poswise brand was never retired and still runs in parallel. poswise.com.au is live, describes CloudHQ4 as its cloud arm, and both brands publish the same 1300 number. Poswise claims its POS is installed in over 2,000 sites, but the named customers are the real credential: The Salvos, which Zeller's partner page puts at "more than 200 stores", plus SpudBar -- all sites converted within four days, per the vendor -- and NFM Supermarket at Nowra. Multi-site charity and value retail is a genuine and unusual specialty; most POS vendors never touch it.
CloudHQ4 Mobile POS itself is an Android and iOS app for taking sales off a phone or tablet, with a customisable layout, business reports and customer loyalty that works across multiple sites. Fair warning on the web presence: poswise.com.au still carries notices about software support ending 1 January 2018 and Budget 2017 news under a 2026 copyright line, and the CloudHQ4 page has social icons pointing at an internal odoo.cloudhq4.com address, which also tells you the stack is built on Odoo. Neglected website, live business.
