Clubware — practice software and bank compatibility

Practice management software · All point-of-sale systems

Clubware is practice-management software for health. Gym software that's been in the Australian and New Zealand market since 2001, now owned by Xplor — the same group that owns Debitsuccess.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise. Linkly holds 2 separate certified builds for it, so what works depends which one you are on.

Clubware manages health clubs and gyms: memberships, access, the front counter. It has been in the industry since 2001 and describes itself as one of the most widely used gym platforms in Australia and New Zealand. Like Links Modular Solutions it's filed under health here, but it's a membership business system, not clinical software.

The owner is Xplor, formed in March 2021 when Transaction Services Group — Auckland, founded 1994 — merged with US acquirer Clearent, both then held by Advent International. The combined group is based in Atlanta, serves 82,000-plus businesses in 158 countries and processed more than $27bn in 2020. Debitsuccess, the direct-debit biller most Australian gyms already use, sits in the same group and is a published Clubware integration.

One wrinkle worth knowing: Xplor also runs Xplor Gym, which grew out of its Membr acquisition. There are two gym platforms under the one roof, and Clubware is the older Australasian one — so ask where it sits on the roadmap before you sign a long term.
