Compound Direct is cloud software for compounding pharmacies, and the core of it is strength-first calculation: the patient gets the prescribed dose whatever the potency of the ingredient batch actually in the jar. Around that sit integrated balances that record measurements straight off the scale, pre-dispense checklists, timers, photos, predictive label checking and formulation-specific risk assessment steps. Stock management runs to low-stock alerts, usage charts for ordering and smart batch selection for rotation. Commercial prescriptions run on the same platform as compounded ones, so the counter doesn't need two systems.

The workflow is deliberately split: a staff member creates the draft dispense, the pharmacist does the final check. Customer messaging is built in too — SMS for stock shortages, delays, or an order being ready, with a history of what was already sent.
