DNC Kiosk — bank compatibility
Self-service kiosk by NCR Australia · All point-of-sale systems
- hospitality
DNC Kiosk is a self-service kiosk for hospitality, built by NCR Australia. An NCR self-order kiosk — and NCR is not the company it was three years ago: the restaurant business was split out as NCR Voyix in October 2023.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
A self-order kiosk is the customer-facing front end of a restaurant system, paired here with a terminal for the payment. NCR's restaurant platform is Aloha, and the kiosk is the self-service face of it rather than a till in its own right.
The company history matters more than usual here. NCR traces back to 1884 in Ohio, when it was the National Cash Register Company. In October 2023 the business split into two separately listed companies: NCR Voyix took the restaurant and retail technology, and NCR Atleos took the ATM business. If you hold a contract, a support agreement or a hardware maintenance arrangement signed simply with 'NCR', it's worth finding out which half of the company it landed in — the support path for a restaurant kiosk and for an ATM are now different businesses.
