Dragatron POS is a point-of-sale system for cafes, hospitality and restaurants. The company behind it sells pharmacy software now, not hospitality POS — check the product still exists before you shortlist it.

Certified on Linkly and on Tyro. Worth knowing the difference: Tyro is its own acquirer, so that route means banking with Tyro. The Linkly route does not.

Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.

Dragatron Pty Ltd (ABN 27 637 798 871) runs out of Narabang Way, Belrose, on Sydney's northern beaches. It sits in Tyro's POS partner directory as a cloud-first, mobile hospitality POS for cafes and restaurants, with integrated sales, inventory and customer management, and there is a DragatronPOS app that went up on the App Store in 2023.

Here is the problem with that listing. Dragatron's own website today is a pharmacy management platform: vaccination recording, AIR submissions, Medicare PPA claiming, digital certificates, a pharmacist mobile app and a patient app called Dragatron Care. Nothing on it mentions hospitality. Their current store listings are DragatronPharmacy and Dragatron Care. The hospitality POS reads like an earlier product the company has moved on from.

So treat this one with care. If you are a cafe looking at Dragatron because it shows up as Tyro-integrated, ask them straight out whether the hospitality POS is still sold and supported and who answers the phone when it breaks. If you are a pharmacy, you have found the right company but the wrong product record.
