Eats365 POS — bank compatibility

Eats365 is a point-of-sale system for cafes and hospitality. A Hong Kong restaurant platform that only reached Australia in 2025, and reaches you through a reseller rather than directly.

Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.

Certified to do split bills. Tyro rates it a Power Up partner.

Eats365 was founded in Hong Kong in 2014 and sells a modular food and beverage platform: a core POS with bolt-ons for online ordering, kitchen display, self-ordering, queue management and digital signage, plus its own payments product, 365pay. It has offices across Hong Kong, mainland China, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and the US, over 110 resellers as of 2023, and integrations with more than 100 third-party platforms. Early marquee customers include the coffee chain %Arabica, from 2018.

The Australian detail is the one that should shape your decision. Eats365 lists its Australian and New Zealand presence as 2025 partnerships — not an office, not a local support team on the public record. It is a reseller-led model, so the company you will actually deal with for installation, menu build and the 2am support call is a local partner, and the quality of that partner is more or less the whole experience. Ask who they are and how many sites they have running before you sign anything.

Tyro certifies it at Power Up tier, tagged for cafes and hospitality, which is the realistic lane: it is strongest in quick service and café formats rather than complex multi-revenue-centre venues.
