Epicor POS is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Precise Business Solutions. Sold by the Perth firm Epicor named its International Partner of the Year in 2023 — and the POS is a companion module, not the main event.
Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.
The Linkly integration runs on premise.
Precise Business Solutions was founded in 1995 and runs out of Perth, with further offices in the UK and the Netherlands and a headcount in the 10 to 49 range. It is a certified Epicor partner implementing Epicor Kinetic ERP, and point of sale is one of the Epicor companion products it resells alongside procurement and contracts. Roughly 70 per cent of the work is manufacturing, with aged and home care and trade distribution making up most of the rest, and the client base skews medium-sized.
In March 2023 Epicor named it International Partner of the Year, citing its delivery for cloud customers and sustained performance — not a small award for a Perth shop. Named clients include Crown Media Holdings, Klinger Australia, Lester Buildings, Brightwater, Juniper and Steel Blue.
What that means for a merchant: you are not buying a till here, you are buying an ERP implementation that includes one. The payment integration question follows the ERP decision rather than leading it.
