Eze Orda POS — bank compatibility

Eze Orda is a point-of-sale system for professional services, built by Engagis. A dead brand from a company that began life as Ordatronics — the self-order name lapsed in 2022.

Eze Orda was one of five modules in Engagis's Eze Suite, alongside Impress, Eze Find, EzeRewards and EzeComms. The clearest evidence of what it was actually for sits on the business names register: Engagis registered both "Eze Orda" and "Noodle Box Eze Orda" on 16 November 2012, and both lapsed on 12 May 2022. The name appears nowhere on the current Engagis site — self-service ordering is now one unnamed application on its kiosk page.

The company is older than the brand, and the original name gives the game away. Engagis Pty Limited was Ordatronics Pty Ltd from January 2002 until 20 March 2012, based in Victoria for its first decade and in Sydney since the rename. Ordering technology is where it started, not a sideline it added later. It has since absorbed a string of other names on the same ABN, including Splash Displays, Nuon Digital, AV Hardware Supplies and Australian Technology Installations.

What Engagis sells today is enterprise multi-site digital signage and AV rollout with managed service, on its own Australian-hosted CMS, Impress Plus. It claims over 10,000 locations across Australasia and 80,000-plus connected devices, with offices at Macquarie Park, Braeside and in the Philippines. Named work includes Telstra, a partnership running since 2007 across 300-plus retail stores, plus EssilorLuxottica, City of Darwin smart-city kiosks, 7-Eleven, Kmart, Mazda and NSW Health.
