Fixably POS — bank compatibility

Fixably is a point-of-sale system for services. Finnish, built around Apple repair shops, and one of the few vendors here with real venture money behind it.

Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.

Fixably Ltd is a Finnish post-sales software company, with a European sales office in Helsinki and a North American one in Cupertino, California. It started as a service management system built specifically for Apple Authorised Service Providers — CEO and co-founder Joel Mansnerus spent a decade in Apple repairs and ran his own repair service company before it. The platform now splits three ways: Fixably Repair for technician workflows, customer communication and OEM integrations including Apple's GSX; Fixably Depot for high-volume depot-level service centres; and Fixably Refurb for running a recommerce operation. The company says it has customers in 51 countries and has served over two million end customers.

On funding, it raised about €1.6 million in September 2020 in a round led by Icebreaker.vc, then a US$10 million round announced in June 2023 from 468 Capital, Cusp Capital, Business Finland and existing investor Icebreaker, launched alongside the refurbishment service. The Australian connection is real: Compnow, one of the larger Australian multi-brand IT providers, is a named customer, and its national service and end-of-life program manager Ivan Krolo says Fixably "has saved us nearly 2,000 hours over the last four months". One caution — published sources disagree on when the company was founded, with one giving 2015 and another 2019, and Fixably's own pages state no year, so be sceptical of any founding date you see quoted.
