Galaxy POS — bank compatibility

Galaxy is a point-of-sale system for ticketing, built by VTicket. A US ticketing platform sold here by a locker company — and that locker company changed hands in February 2026.

Galaxy is not vTicket's software. Gateway Ticketing Systems approved VTicket as a value-added reseller for the attraction and amusement markets in Australia and New Zealand in December 2012, with VTicket described then as a new arm of the locker business VLocker and Derek Stoneman as its director. Gateway itself was incorporated on 8 July 1988 by Peter Grumblatt in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, starting as a division of Merion Software Associates and co-founded with Michael Andre and Darryl Moser; Andre was made president in 1998 and is now president and chief executive. Galaxy bundles ticketing, admission control, group and online sales, retail, food and beverage, membership, pass and donor management and CRM, and Gateway claims over 500 clients worldwide.

The ownership has shifted underneath it. VENU+ announced its acquisition of VLocker on 3 February 2026 — VLocker being Australian-headquartered, founded more than 30 years ago and serving more than 700 high-traffic venues, previously family-owned and a partner of Roller. VENU+ runs 400-plus staff across all 50 US states and 13 countries and is a portfolio company of ZCG Private Equity in New York. Neither vTicket nor ticketing gets a mention in that announcement, and an ABN search returns no active entity for VTicket, so the reseller arm may no longer exist.
