GlobalSTORE + (GK Software) Transaction Plus POS — bank compatibility

GlobalSTORE + (GK Software) Transaction Plus is a point-of-sale system for professional services, built by Fujitsu America. Two separate products bolted into one directory record — worth untangling before you quote off it.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

GlobalSTORE is Fujitsu's own point of sale and cash management software, owned by Fujitsu Transaction Solutions out of Frisco, Texas, and built on Microsoft .NET. Its North American grocery version was validated against Visa's PABP, with Stop & Shop and Giant-Landover as the launch collaborators. TransAction+ is a different thing entirely: GK Software's retail payment processing layer, supporting more than 40 payment processors and labelled US-only on GK's own site.

The two are now under one roof, which is probably why they ended up on one record. Fujitsu launched a voluntary takeover of GK Software at EUR190.00 a share in March 2023 — about EUR432 million — held 68.03% by that May, and completed the acquisition on 27 May 2025, making GK a wholly owned Fujitsu subsidiary. A global partnership under which Fujitsu distributes GK's solutions worldwide alongside SAP was in place from early 2024.

What we could not find, and will not claim: any published statement that GlobalSTORE runs GK's TransAction+. The documented relationship between the two is corporate ownership and distribution, not a product integration. If you are being quoted this combination, ask the integrator to show you the certification covering both halves.
