GloPosNet POS — bank compatibility

GloPosNet is a point-of-sale system for hospitality and retail, built by Intraday / GloPosNet. A UK POS with an Australian support line, and three different company names depending on which directory you read.

Certified on Linkly, running on premise. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs on premise.

GloPosNet is a retail and hospitality POS sold mainly into UK independents — convenience and grocery, salons, vape shops, bookshops, delis, bakeries, cafes, pubs and takeaways — bundled with hardware. Its own site says it is a trading name of Droid IT Systems Ltd, company number 07471012, registered in England and Wales with a registered office at Stevenage, and that the company has "evolved since 2009". It claims 3,000-plus customers and five million transactions a day; both are unsourced marketing claims with no date attached.

The name question matters if you are working out who you would actually be contracting with. Tyro lists the vendor as Intraday Pty Ltd under the product name GloPosNet Retail, aimed at butchers, grocers and supermarkets. Worldpay's partner directory lists it as GloPOs Net Limited. Its own site names neither and gives only Droid IT Systems Ltd. No public source reconciles the three.

The Australian side is real but thin. It is listed as Zeller Integrated, has a Tyro integration covering cashout, purchases, receipts, refunds and reports, and publishes an Australian mobile and a Sydney landline alongside its UK numbers. The named testimonials are all British convenience brands — Nisa Local, Costcutter, Chicken Cottage — and the partner logos on its site are UK grocery wholesalers.
