GuestPoint is a point-of-sale system for accommodation and hospitality. Built for the owner-operated motel — the kind of front desk where one person does check-in, housekeeping and the books.

Certified on Linkly and on Tyro. Worth knowing the difference: Tyro is its own acquirer, so that route means banking with Tyro. The Linkly route does not.

The integration covers split bills.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud or on premise. Linkly holds 2 separate certified builds for it, so what works depends which one you are on.

GuestPoint is an Australian-owned accommodation management system aimed at motels, small hotels, B&Bs and guest houses. The interface people remember is the colour-coded calendar reservation grid with drag-and-drop bookings — deliberately simple, because the person using it is often the owner. Accounting, housekeeping and guest relationship modules sit behind it, and deployment is hybrid on Windows.

Pricing starts around A$125 a month with a free trial. It rates 4.4 out of 5 across 45 reviews, and the praise is consistent on ease of use and support — one reviewer put it as "deceptively simple to use which makes it easy to teach to others", while noting the reports behind it are better than that simplicity suggests. The criticism is worth knowing too: an older review flagged cash-based accounting limitations and card-processing complications through its NMI gateway integration. For a small property that is the real question to ask — which payment path you are being put on, and whether the surcharge and settlement arrangement suits you.
