Heya POS is a point-of-sale system for hair and beauty and services. Two Vietnamese entrepreneurs started it to serve Vietnamese-Australian businesses, and it is one of very few POS systems in the country supported in Vietnamese as well as English.
Tyro only. Tyro is its own middleware and its own acquirer, so this one comes with the bank attached — moving bank means a new integration.
Tyro rates it a Premium partner — their top tier.
Heya POS trades as HIDA POS Pty Ltd, and it has a genuinely specific market rather than a marketing segment. Tyro's partner listing says two Vietnamese entrepreneurs founded it to cut the complexity and inefficiency facing Vietnamese-Australian businesses, and that support is offered in Vietnamese and English. Nail, hair and beauty salons are a large and heavily Vietnamese-run slice of Australian personal services, and almost no POS vendor in this market talks to those operators in their own language.
The feature set reads like it was written by somebody who has worked a salon counter. Automated service costing so staff cannot price a treatment wrong on a busy Saturday, a client database carrying visit history, promotional discounts for bulk marketing campaigns, per-operator performance reports, and automated text messages that ask the client for a Google review after the appointment. That last one is not a till feature in the usual sense — for a suburban salon living or dying on local search results, it is arguably the most valuable thing in the list.
Tyro integration covers the standard set: purchases, receipts, refunds and reports through the terminal.
