Indigo8 POS v1.0.58 build is a point-of-sale system for retail, built by Indigo8 Solutions. Melbourne-built back-office software for fashion labels, with the till bolted on the side rather than the other way round.

Certified on Linkly, running in the cloud. Linkly reaches more acquirers than any other middleware in the market, which is why most POS start there.

The Linkly integration runs in the cloud.

The software was originally built in 2003 for a large American apparel business. That company was sold in 2004, and three of its employees bought the rights to the system from the new owners and started Indigo8 on it. The Australian entity, Indigo8 Australia Pty Ltd, has been registered since August 2009, based in Brighton, Victoria, and the company lists Melbourne as its only office.

It is a fashion operations platform first and a POS second: inventory and order management, pick and pack, wholesale, EDI, tech packs, fabrics, costing, samples and production, with retail POS as one module among them. The customer list is the pitch — Dion Lee, Assembly Label, By Charlotte, Peppermayo, SIR the Label, Leo Lin, Acler, Faithfull the Brand, Jurlique, Rivers, Clarks, Veja, J.Lindeberg, Trelise Cooper, State of Escape and Misha among others. Assembly Label runs 18-plus outlets across Australia and New Zealand on it, By Charlotte 16-plus stores, and Lioness up to a thousand orders a day. The vendor's own site says 150-plus fashion brands in one place and 80-plus Australian ones in another, so treat the number as a range.

For EFTPOS specifically it is a Tyro POS partner — the Indigo8 iPad POS handles purchases, receipts, refunds and split payments through Tyro. The app is live and actively maintained, with releases shipping in October 2026. One name trap worth knowing: indigo8.com is an unrelated web design firm in Flagstaff, Arizona. The one you want is indigo8-solutions.com.
